Electrical Engineering Intern

Digital Forces Corporation

Assembled Slipstream asphalt-release truck sprayer. Focused on installation of IR sensors, power supply, and sanitation cables. Created optocoupler circuitry for mass production that converted AC input to logically high/low output. Designed State Transition Diagram for industrial printer that company sold, which consisted of 14 states and 35 transitions. Managed and facilitated sales of company’s eBay account, while taking inventory of 40+ listed items and upholding 100% positive customer feedback.

Participated and led project with a diverse team of 7 to facilitate weekly client interactions and develop methods to promote company growth. Researched competitive landscape, leveraged professional research, and analyzed platform insights for a Fortune 500 manufacturing company. Collaborated in small groups of 8 with company employees to understand and appreciate the importance of diversity and inclusion within the tech industry. Discussed the growing incorporation of machine learning and artificial intelligence in businesses today with technology leaders in the company.

ECE 110: Introduction to Electronics

Created a scoreboard circuit using an IR sensor and Arduino. Successfully built car that changes wheel speed when it reaches a wall to avoid collision.

Spring 2018

ECE 120: Introduction to Computing

Created the control circuit of a vending machine that accepted or rejected coins to reach exactly thirty-five cents.

Fall 2017

ECE 220: Computer Systems & Programming

Employed recursive backtracking for a sudoku solver that fills in cells while satisfying game rules. Built own version of popular game 2048 with defined data structures and functions for producing, updating, destroying game cells, and keeping score. Implemented a maze solver utilizing recursive depth-first search. Takes in an unsolved maze and will output a working solution containing all failed attempts.
